Dishwasher Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

DAILY TASKS

-Keep the restaurant running smoothly by washing prep dishes, plate-ware and glassware through the three compartment sink, dish machine and helping to polish glassware. 

-Keep the dish/prep room clean and organized, the kitchen floors mopped and sanitized.

-Fill/change all sanitizer buckets 6am, 10am, 2pm and 6pm

-Maintain adequate levels of clean plates and glassware and prevent any breakage or loss.

-Follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures.

-Take out trash in the kitchen at the end of shift, and/or as needed throughout the day.

-Breakdown any cardboard and take it to the dumpster immediately to prevent build up.

-Take direction and feedback from leadership.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS 

-Efficient and passionate about cleanliness. 

-Comfortable working in a fast-paced and loud environment, while still having an eye for workplace safety. 

-Comfortable standing for long periods of time, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

-Maricopa County food handler’s card

-Must have the ability to work weekends and some holidays.
